About the Authors

Jen (Moser) Steffensmeier specializes in evangelization and parish renewal at the Archdiocese of Omaha, coaching parish leaders and coordinating a formation program to equip lay leaders for evangelization. She has a Masters in Theology from the Augustine Institute and is trained as a Clifton Strengths Coach and spiritual director. Jen is a native of rural Nebraska and enjoys life on the farm with her husband, Justin.

Jessi Kary, AO has been a member of the Apostolic Oblates, a secular institute, since 2003 and is passionate about helping others learn to pray and grow in holiness. She has a Masters in Theological Studies from Ave Maria University and collaborated in the writing and publication of Same-Sex Attraction in Seminary Formation and The Augustine Way. Jessi has been a spiritual director for over fifteen years and has been involved in formation for the Apostolic Oblates, seminarians, and laity of all ages.
