About the Authors

Monsignor Walter R. Oxley, STD, is a priest of the diocese of Toledo, Ohio. Currently, he serves as Senior Director of Clergy, Consecrated Life, and Vocations and Vicar for Clergy of his diocese and has served as a parish priest, Vice-Rector of the Pontifical College Josephinum, a spiritual director at the Pontifical North American College, and an official in the doctrine section of the Vatican’s Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith.

Father John P. Cush, STD, is a priest of the diocese of Brooklyn, New York. Currently, he serves as a professor of dogmatic theology and a formation advisor at Saint Joseph’s Seminary and College, Dunwoodie in the Archdiocese of New York. Previously, Father Cush was Academic Dean and Assistant Vice-Rector of the Pontifical North American College and a theology and Church history professor at several Roman universities.
